Using this wireless router you can set up a wireless home network in no time between PCs and notebooks that have a wireless network adapter (PC Card, PCI Card or USB). In this wireless network you can share files and peripheral equipment with all other users. By connecting the wireless router to your ADSL or cable modem connection, you can also share a single Internet subscription throughout the whole house. Thanks to the integrated switch, you can directly connect 4 PCs, which then all have the possibility of access to the Internet. The built-in Firewall ensures that this Internet entrance is safeguarded against intruders. With the two USB ports it is easy to share two external USB hard disks and/or flash disks with all the other PC’s in your network. It also provides virtual server and virtual DMZ functions to let your internal servers be accessed from the Internet. Wireless Turbo G Access Point The MAC/BBP IC features Range-OVERDRIVETM and Packet-OVERDRIVETM technology that combines Packet Burst and Frame Aggregation for up to 35 Mbps throughput, without resorting to channel bonding that decreases available channels and increases interference. Supports Special Applications The router can let you setup trigger ports of special applications, and let you utilize Internet services smoothly. Anti-DoS SPI Firewall The SPI (StatefulPacket Inspection) firewall can protect your Intranet PCs from illegal access and many kinds of DoS attacks from the Internet, and alert you by e-mail in the first time if some event happens. It also provides Internet access control function. Virtual Server and DMZ The virtual server and DMZ function let you setup your servers in the Intranet and still can provide services to the Internet users. DHCP Automatically assgin IPs to the Intranet PCs. Web Configuration You can configure the router through the friendly Web user interface with a browser. Suitable for use with non-BT lines, i.e. NTL and other providers. For BT lines use Sitecom DC-214 or WL-174 or WL-530
